Despite being told by her high school guidance counselor that she shouldn’t bother applying to ivy league schools because she wouldn’t be able to afford them, Dr. Maggie Wray was accepted to every college she applied to (including Princeton, Dartmouth, and Cornell). She graduated college debt-free with a Bachelor’s degree in Astrophysics from Princeton and went on to earn her Ph.D. in Neurobiology and Behavior from Cornell.

Dr. Wray founded Creating Positive Futures, LLC in 2013 to help students develop the mindset, organization, time management, and study skills they need to excel in high school and to thrive in the most competitive schools in the country. Her team of coaches works one-on-one with students to provide students with research-based strategies, accountability, and encouragement they need to achieve their academic goals.
